The Carlinkit CCPA (AutoKit) dongle allows you to add Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to compatible aftermarket Android head units. By connecting via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, it eliminates the need for a USB cable, giving you a cleaner setup and automatic reconnection every time you start your vehicle.
Once paired, your phone can stay in your pocket or bag while you access navigation, calls, messages and music directly on your headunit display.
Compatibility
- Apple CarPlay: iPhone running iOS 10 and above
- Android Auto: Android phones running Android 11 and above
- Android headunit must support APK installation
Installation Instructions
- Download the AutoKit APK file.
- Prepare a blank USB flash drive formatted in FAT32 (no other files).
- Copy the AutoKit APK onto the USB drive.
- Insert the USB drive into the headunit’s CarPlay USB port.
- Open the file manager app on your headunit.
- Locate the APK file and select Install.
- Open the AutoKit app once installation is complete.
- Plug the Carlinkit CCPA dongle into the USB port.
- Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your phone.
- Pair your phone with the Bluetooth name shown on the headunit screen.
